As online order volumes increased—especially during peak seasons—it became essential to maintain strict visibility over the movement of goods from factory to warehouse, warehouse to distributor, or directly to end customers.
Recognizing that digitization was the key, the client approached Spinclabs to automate and streamline the order tracking process.
The order dispatch and tracking process was entirely manual and fragmented. Each order created in the SAP ERP system required a dedicated resource to manually record vehicle and item allocation details.
Spinclabs implemented a real-time integration between SAP ERP and Spinclabs TMS, allowing orders to seamlessly flow from ERP to the transportation management system.
The solution included integration with GPS devices, SIM-based tracking, and mobile app-based tracking to create a complete chronological order tracking history.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, when operations were partially digital and partially paper-based, managing information became increasingly difficult—especially with employees working remotely.
